Happy November 1st

Happy November 1st, friends!  As Ms. Bigham, the Tolt librarian, says…  it is time to  “Gobble Up Some Good Reads in November!”

In October, 3-5 grade students coming to the library have been working hard on learning the research process and seeking out information for their nonfiction book project. The younger students have been practicing library procedures and focusing on browsing for great books.
Now that it is November, the research project and book enjoyment continues.  Please keep reminding your students to come into the library during their lunch recess to check in, out and renew books. With Thanksgiving Break on the way, encourage your student to stock up on books for the holiday!
The Stillwater Book Fair is getting closer!
Tuesday, November 15th is the first day of our Scholastic Book Fair! We will be open during non-instructional hours for student purchases, and during conference times as well. Please stop by the book fair – your support is greatly appreciated as it helps us purchase books for the library and teachers. Also, we are still looking for some awesome volunteers to help out during afternoon shifts, especially on Tuesday, Nov. 22nd. Please consider signing up here at our Sign Up Genius page.
