Stillwater LRC

Our first meeting was Wednesday, October 11^th.  We had a snack, talked about what “Battle of the Books” is, skimmed through the book “Lincoln And Kennedy: A Pair to Compare” by Gene Barretta, and selected a book to checkout and read before our next meeting. We will each read all 10 of the books on the Battle of the Books short 10. 3-5-1mwva8v list.

If your 3rd, 4th or 5th grader is still interested in joining BotB, a blue parent permission form (which your student can get from me in the Library) needs to be completed and turned in before coming to the next meeting, on Wednesday, October 25th.

I’ve listed all of our meeting dates below, for your reference.

Meetings start at 3:45 and end at 4:30 pm.

Students should pack a light snack.

Please plan on picking up your student from the second parent pick up loop (between the stop sign and the portables) at 4:30 pm.
